Bert Corona Charter hadn't done well against Lakeview Charter recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bert Corona Charter Knights pulled ahead with a 41-40 photo finish over the Lakeview Charter Lions. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Lions two weeks ago, they had to take a 63-47 defeat.
Bert Corona Charter has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Lakeview Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 4-15.
After the game was completed, BCCHS celebrated the graduating seniors with a "Senior Sign Out" and thanked Coach Sal Martinez and Ms. Martinez for their support throughout the season.
